About Hongcha

This fully oxidized black tea (Hongcha) is also referred to as “red tea” because of its deep amber colour when steeped. The carefully chosen leaves are gently wilted, tossed, rolled, oxidized, and dried to bring out its expressive flavour profile. 

Plucked after the first spring rains, before the summer season.
